Gardai have announced this morning that they’ve launched an investigation into the discovery of two dead bodies of a man and woman aged in their 40s were found late last night in Co Cavan.
The bodies were found at the house in Cloverhill, near Belturbet, after gardai were called to the scene shortly after 8pm on Sunday evening.
Locals say that the man and woman had not been seen for a number of days.
It’s not yet known the circumstance of their death with gardai to give an update to media later today.
