There has been another gangland shooting in Co Meath this evening Gardai have confirmed.
It is believed the man aged 55 was shot dead this evening in Ratoath, Co Meath at approximately 7.45pm. Sources say the man a known associate of Gerry ‘The Monk’ Hutch was shot in his car, and died at the scene.
Gardaí say the man was a well-known criminal, and had in recent years been heavily involved in cigarette smuggling.
However it is not yet known if the shooting is in connection to the current feud between the Hutch and Kinahan criminal groupings.
Gardai and paramedics are currently at the scene.
