Gardai have confirmed that a 32-yr-old man has died after a stabbing in Youghal in Co Cork last night.
The incident happened at a pub in the town  shortly before midnight.
The man was rushed to Cork University Hospital where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
It is understood the man was from Youghal
The area around the bar has been sealed off and gardaà will carry out a forensic and technical examination later.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact on at Youghal Garda station or on the confidential line on 1800-66-61-11.
