Gardai have announced they’ve made a significant breakthrough in the Trevor Deely missing persons case.

Trevor went missing on December 8th 2000 after his Christmas party.

Gardai say they reopened the cold case in December 2016 and with the help of enhanced CCTV footage which was developed in the UK, they have found a new unidentified man talking to Trevor one hour before he disappeared.

The man waited to meet Trevor outside his workplace at 3am and spoke to him.

Trevor went missing at 4:14am when he was last seen on Haddington Road.

Gardai are now seeking to talk to the man who was last seen talking to Trevor at approximately 3:30am. They say this is a significant breakthrough and that it is a major stepping stone in finding out what happened to Trevor.
