GardaĆ are investigating the disappearance of a boy, last seen at around 3-and-a-half years old, who may have died in suspicious, unreported circumstances in Dublin. The case was brought to their attention by Tusla, the State’s child and family agency, after an application for a social welfare payment revealed no record of the child attending school.
An investigation began on Friday, with an incident room established at Swords Garda Station.
A residence in Donabate, North County Dublin, has been examined, and detectives suspect the child may have been harmed, with his body possibly buried or disposed of. GardaĆ have interviewed several of the childās relatives.
It’s understood that no arrests have been made at this time.
