
Gardaí are investigating the death of a man in his 50s after an “incident” at a residence on Foxdene Drive, Balgaddy, Co Dublin, shortly after 11pm last night.
The man, injured at the scene, was taken to Tallaght University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The area is secured, and a Senior Investigating Officer from Lucan Garda Station is leading the investigation.
A post-mortem examination is scheduled. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses in the Foxdene Drive area between 11pm and midnight, as well as any road users or pedestrians with video footage, including dash-cam recordings, to contact Lucan Garda Station at 01 66 67 300, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 66 61 11, or any garda station. The investigation is ongoing.
