Gardaí in Dublin have confirmed that it may take some time to identify a body that has been discovered during the search for missing woman Jastine Valdez.
In a statement released this afternoon officers investigating incident have said, the body which is to be formally identified was discovered in gorse land in the Puck’s Castle area in south Co Dublin.
According to RTÉ News Gardaí have said the body was found in area of land that is highly difficult to gain access to.
Gardaí investigating the incident say they have informed Ms Valdez’s family about the discovery.
They also confirmed that a number of items including clothing and a purse were discovered at the scene.
