President Donald Trump appears to have gotten a ceasefire deal across the line. We’re still a number of hours away but it appears as though Israel have been told to pause bombings while hostages get released, with a further rebuilding of Gaza on the horizon.

Gaza Ceasefire Deal Update: Negotiators in Qatar are close to finalizing a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, aiming to end 15 months of conflict. The proposed deal includes a phased ceasefire, with the first phase lasting 42 days and involving the release of 33 hostages by Hamas in exchange for Palestinian prisoners held by Israel.

This ceasefire would also see an increase in humanitarian aid to Gaza. The negotiations have been endorsed by U.S. President Joe Biden, who has stressed the urgency of the ceasefire. However, there are still unresolved issues, including the fate of remaining hostages and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from certain areas in Gaza.
