The Department for Health has confirmed that 47 people have died from coronavirus today and 631 more cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the Republic of Ireland.`
In an announcement made this evening the Department confirmed that there are currently 224,651 confirmed cases in the Republic of Ireland and a total 4,441 deaths.
The number of patients in ICU stands at more than 133.
