In Micheal Martin’s announcement tonight, the government has asked people who can work from home to work from home until October 27th.
It’s also been confirmed that people cannot travel outside their own county until October 27th.
The Government has agreed to move the entire country to level 3 restrictions.
It is understood that the Government has agreed to reject the National Public Health Emergency Team’s recommendations to move the country to Level 5 restrictions.
Thd new restrictions will come into effect from Wednesday morning.
Under the new restrictions pubs will only be allowed to serve a maximum of 15 people in outdoor settings only.
The Government have also confirmed that the restrictions will be reviewed in three weeks time.
