There are reports this morning that a gunman has opened fire in downtown New Orleans, injuring at least 11 people.
The shooting took place in the busy French Quarter area of the city on Sunday morning, local time.
Local authorities have said that two of the injured are in a ‘critical’ condition, and that at least one person has been detained in connection with the shooting, though it’s unclear whether or not it is the shooter.
