The Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly has confirmed in the past few minutes that his Covid-19 test has come back negative.
The news of Donnelly”s result comes after the Dail was adjourned earlier today when Donnelly reported feeling unwell.
It is understood that a number of cabinet ministers and the acting Chief Medical Officer Dr Ronan Glynn had restricted their movements following the announcement that the Health Minister was taking a Covid-19 test.
However following the negative result it is believed that the restrictions imposed on Cabinet Ministers have now been lifted and the Daill will resume normal activities.
