President Donald Trump has addressed the nation and indeed the world announcing that being the President of the United States has been the honour of his lifetime.
The 45th President called for healing and reconciliation from both sides of the political divide.
President Trump said that he and his team did all they could to legally ingratiate fraud in the election results but that his focus now turns to a seamless and peaceful transition of power to the new administration.
President Trump thanked his supporters and ended by saying that “this is only the beginning”.
