A Health and Safety Authority and Garda investigation is under way following the death of a young boy at a premises in Co Donegal.

The Liberal understands the incident involves a 9-yr-boy who tragically died following a machinery accident near Dungloe.
The incident happened in An Clochán Liath Friday evening.
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
The boy’s body was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital where a post-mortem examination will take place today.
The Health and Safety Authority was notified and will attend the premises this afternoon.
A file is currently getting prepared for the Coroner’s Court.
