In what can only be described as truly outrageous, the Irish taxpayer will have to hand over €8 million to so-called developing countries, so that they’ll have better weather forecasting equipment.
Who voted for this? Well, that’s anyone’s guess, but either way, Fine Gael’s Neale Richmond is at COP30 to announce the package to delegates, claiming that climate change is “real” and multilateralism is the only way to solve that and it’s important for countries like Ireland are being productive, announcing new supporters and are there and play a pro-active role in the negotiations.
