The Liberal has learned that a large number of gardai in a North Dublin station have been forced to self-isolate as a result of coming into contact with a person returning from abroad.
It’s understood that a senior garda informed other members late on Easter Monday evening that they must self-isolate at home and not return to the station at this time.
The Liberal knows further details as to the background of this situation but due to legal reasons is not in a position to elaborate fully at this time.
