A large number of gardai have been recorded making their way to Whitegate Oil Refinery in Cork.
Virgin Media’s Paul Byrne showed a huge contingent of gardai driving to the refinery – some were in riot vans.
Some locals say gardai have now been seen in riot gear.
If does indeed transpire to be riot gardai sent in to do the heavy work, it is yet another terrible stain on this government’s record.
