Update:
London Bridge had been completely evacuated after what was being described as a “major security threat” at the famous bridge.
Emergency services rushed to the scene shortly after 3pm where witnesses described police surrounding one particular car.
They had also surrounded the adjoining bus station.
The Metropolitan police have just announced that the area has been secured and the threat is no longer suspicious.
The UK is currently on a high terror alert level.
