The Metropolitan police have evacuated Trafalgar Square in central London and the surrounding areas’ offices.
It’s understood that an armed response unit is on the way to the area with Charing Cross underground tube station reportedly closed also.
Reports of a suspicious looking bag in the area have not yet been confirmed.
