A major search operation has resumed this morning after a 5-yr-old boy went missing on Lough Mask in Co Mayo last night.
It is understood that the boy went missing after he fell from a dinghy that drifted into the lake.
Gardai say a number of rescue teams were searching the area since 6:30pm but were forced to stop due to failing light.
It is understood units from Corrib Mask Search and Rescue team have delegated searching teams the area this morning and are working with the Irish Coast Guard helicopter who have also been called in to assist the search operation.
