Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald has been re-elected to Dublin Central.
Ms McDonald received 11,223 votes and came out on top ahead of Fine Gael’s Paschal Donohoe.
It is reported that Ms McDonald had 5,000 more votes than was required.
Those votes will now be redistributed.
