The Sinn Fein leader Mary Lou McDonald hasn’t been seen in weeks.
Many felt she went to ground when her children were forced to stay at home and quarantine because their school had an infected student.
McDonald herself has announced through a Sinn Fein statement that she tested positive for covid-19 and is more or less over it and will be back to work on Monday.
No details were given as to where she thinks she contracted it other than she’s basically over it at this stage and will be back working next Monday.
