Fianna Fail’s leader Micheal Martin has been elected as Taoiseach even though it’s massive unpopular with the vast majority of the public.
Despite being only elected at the sixth count during the last general election, many feel that it’s turning the entire electoral process into an outright charade.
Fianna Fail and Fine Gael joined forces to keep Sinn Fein out of what many believe to be its democratically elected position in Government, enlisting the Green Party as a convenient crutch to ensure a majority.
Ireland now faces another extended period of ‘same old, same old’ politics, with nothing to show for it.
What do you think? Are you happy with Martin’s new position?
