The National Lottery has confirmed that the winning EuroMillions ticket was purchased at a retail outlet in Munster.
Jennifer Crowe from the National Lottery stated that the winner has not yet come forward.
“We know nothing about the winner at this point. We urge all Munster players to carefully check their tickets”, reports RTE.
Ms. Crowe said. “If you’re the winner, stay calm, sign the back of the ticket, and contact our claims team.”
The Lottery expects to reveal the county where the ticket was sold tomorrow and the specific retail outlet by Friday.
Congratulations were extended to the winner, who now holds the record for Ireland’s largest-ever EuroMillions prize.
The National Lottery advises winners to seek independent legal advice before claiming their prize.
This marks Ireland’s 18th EuroMillions jackpot since the draw’s inception in 2004.
