Reports just reaching us that Hamas has agreed to a 24-hour humanitarian ceasefire.
Israel however has not confirmed whether or not it will follow this agreement. The ceasefire was due to begin at 12:00 p.m. GMT, but Israeli jets are still flying over Palestinian territory and rocket fire has been spotted in Gaza as of this time.
US Secretary of State John Kerry is still conducting negotiations to try and implement a 7-day long ceasefire.
