An Ethiopian airlines Boeing 737 Max carrying 157 passenges and crew has crashed on its way to Kenya, it’s now reported that everyone on board has tragically died.
One Irish person has been reported as among the dead with the Department of Foreign Affairs in contact with authorities in Kenya.
It’s understood the Department of Foreign Affairs is trying to get in contact with the person’s family in Ireland.
This crash happens just months after a deadly crash in Indonesia involving the same model.
The plane was making its way on a routine flight from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to the Kenyan capital.
It’s understood that the airline has launched a major emergency mission with no survivors at this point.
