Pat Hickey has been formally charged with over the ticket touting fiasco in Rio.
A public prosecutor has charged Hickey and Kevin Mallon over their role in the Olympic Council of Ireland ticket scandal at the Rio 2016 Games last month.
Rio’s public prosecutor Mr Marcus Kac signed the indictment this morning local time after reviewing the police investigation.
This has greatly increased the affair in the eyes of the law and has no signs as of yet for Pat Hickey to get a court date.
