50-yr-old Patrick Quirke has been found found guilty of murdering his alleged love-rival Bobby Ryan, the DJ known as “Mr Moonlight”.
The farmer denied the charges put in front of him, but the Tipperary man has been found guilty of murdering 52-yr-old Mr Ryan.
After a considerably long 15-week trial, the jury finally delivered its verdict after almost 21 hours of closed debate.
Mr Quirke made no reaction to the verdict while Mr Ryan’s family cried in the courtroom.
Mr Ryan vanished on 3 June 2011 after he left his girlfriend Mary Lowry’s farm early in the morning with his body found on the 30th of April 2013.
