Peadar Toibin has resigned from the Sinn Fein party.
The Meath TD had been suspended for six months because he’s pro life and voted No in the abortion referendum whereas Sinn Fein forced for a yes vote.
Peadar said that he has seen all his media and Dail talking privileges taken away and that he had decided to leave the party and be independent.
Toibin received much praise for his pro life stance and will no be remembered for it on polling day in the future.
