In what can only be described as an absolutely shambles the Department of Health has confirmed that everyone who has been in close contact with a woman diagnosed with coronavirus has been traced, notified and alerted that they’re in risk.
It’s now understood that the patient in isolation with coronavirus in Belfast’s Royal Victoria Hospital is a woman who travelled through Dublin Airport on her way home to Northern Ireland from northern Italy and was accompanied by a child.
It’s believed at this stage that the child is thankfully not displaying any symptoms.
They both travelled from northern Italy back to Belfast via Dublin airport.
