It has been reported this evening that Phil Hogan will resign from his role as EU Commissioner.
According to RTE News, Hogan will tender his resignation this evening following on from questions over his appearance at Oireachtas Golf society event last week.
RTE News reports that Hogan will sibmit his letter of resignation to EU President Ursula von der Leyen later this evening.
