Police in the UK have confirmed in the past half hour that the North West counter terrorism unit are treating the explosion that occurred at the Manchester Arena tonight as a possible terrorist incident.
According to Greater Manchester police bomb disposal experts have been sent to the arena to examine the scene which seen maspanic earlier tonight.
Although the official fatality count has not been released it is believed up to 20 people including young children have been killed in the incident.
