Police authorities in New York are currently searching for a gunman after 10 people were shot whilst travelling on a subway train in the city.
According to reports in the US, the masked gunman opened fire on a crowd of people at 36th Street Station, in Brooklyn.
Police investigating the incident say at least 10 people were shot during the incident with five people being left in critical but stable condition.
It is not yet known why the attack occurred, but authorities are not treating the incident as a terrorist incident.
