Various social media users have posted images of a frightening house fire which broke out this afternoon in a residential area in County Meath.
Meath Councillor Sharon Keogan commented on social media about the fire which engulfed an apartment in Bettystown, County Meath.
There were no causalities in fire thanks to the help of neighbours and emergency services who rushed to the beachfront area of the town from Drogheda. Two fire brigades and one ambulance was at the scene where people out enjoying the mild weather watched as the blaze took hold.
