Gardai have confirmed that the body of a man aged in his 20s has been found at the base of a cliff in Co. Clare.
Emergency services were alerted when witnesses saw a man fall at around 5:30pm yesterday evening at the Cliffs of Moher in County Clare.
The man, believed to be from Germany, is tragically believed to be that on the body which emergency rescuers have found this afternoon.
An investigation is now underway as to what circumstances led to this man’s death.
