RTE presenter Claire Byrne is being forced to semi-present her show, Claire Byrne Live from a shed out the back of her house as she’s self-isolating.
Claire said that she was sneezing and coughing and her GP said she should self-isolate from her work colleagues. She needs to get a coronavirus test carried out – but as of Monday night, she still hasn’t been tested for covid-19.
The presenter, who sounded quite hoarse, said that she is due to get tested in the next day or two.
All of the show is dedicated to the coronavirus outbreak, but Claire has only had the most minimum part given her condition. Social media users are wishing her well online.
