Saved by the bell actor Dustin Diamond’s representatives have announced that he has been diagnosed with stage four cancer. The 44-yr-old actor is said to have started treatment after his diagnosis and is currently receiving his first chemotherapy, his representative confirmed.
Speaking to TMZ, Dustin’s representative said the actor was diagnosed after finding a lump in his throat.
They say that cancer is all over his body. Dustin is also said to suffer from pain related to shingles.
Dustin, best known for playing Screech on the ’90s teen sitcom Saved By The Bell, fell ill with “body aches” this past weekend in Florida.
The representatives have asked for fans to keep the actor in their thoughts and prayers.
