Businessman and former Dragon’s Den participant Sean Gallagher has announced that he is going to have a second run for the Aras later this year.
Gallagher was miles ahead in the polls in 2011 when an infamous “tweet” on RTE’s Primetime seemed to throw the election and he came second to Michael D. Higgins.
Gallagher has already registered a website called SeanGallagher2018.com during the summer.
He’ll join fellow Dragon’s Den entrepreneur Gavin Duffy in seeking 4 council nominations.
It’s understood that Gallagher is hot favourite to get both Louth and Meath’s nominations.
Things are getting interesting. Michael D. Higgins might need to start packing his bags.
