Gardai say they have arrested a second man as part of their ongoing investigations into the murder of Ashling Murphy.
According to the Irish Mirror, the man is being held at a Garda Station in the Eastern Region where he is being questioned in relation to the horrific killing of Ms. Murphy. The first man to be arrested is still being detained at Tullamore Garda Station where questioning is ongoing.
At this stage the Gardai have collected a considerable amount of forensic and DNA evidence in connection with Ms. Murphy’s murder.
The 23-year-old was laid to rest following a requiem Mass on Wednesday.
