Health authorities have this evening confirmed severe outbreaks at two wards in an Irish hospital.
It is understood that the outbreaks have occurred in Naas General Hospital. One of the affected wards is inside the hospital building itself, the second at the inpatient acute Psychiatric Lakeview Unit, which is on the hospital grounds.
Ireland, like many other countries in Europe and elsewhere, is currently dealing with an increasingly dire Covid-19 situation.
