If you’re not a fan of Fine Gael or Fianna Fail, then you better look away today because somehow both of these parties have managed to get huge numbers across the line again.
Fine Gael’s Simon Harris has just been elected after he topped the poll in Wicklow.
Harris needed roughly 11,000 votes and got more than 16,000 votes.
It’s likely that Harris will either be Taoiseach or Tanaiste when the next government is formed.
