Spanish police have arrested a man in Barcelona after he drove a truck at high speed loaded with gas canisters the wrong way on a major road.
The vehicle is said to have rammed several cars near the city’s harbour before police fired shots to stop it, according to Spanish media.
Police did not confirm the gunshots but Spanish media have said that the truck driver was being questioned after shots were fired.
Spanish media have reported that the butane truck had been stolen while the owner had been carrying out a delivery.
