It has been confirmed in the past few minutes that a 16 year old boy has died after a small fishing boat he was travelling on capsized off the Malin Head this afternoon.
It is believed the boy died Altnagelvin Hospital this evening after he was transferred to the hospital this afternoon.
The news of the boy’s death comes after it was confirmed that a man aged in his 60s sadly passed away at Letterkenny General Hospital this evening.
Meanwhile Gardaí have confirmed that another man who was rescued from the waters earlier today is in stable condition in hospital.
