A teenage girl and a man aged in his 30s have been arrested this evening on suspicion of murdering missing man William Dalney.
The 56-yr-old man went missing from his home in Portlaoise in January. It’s understood that both people were detained as a search by gardaí and the Defence Forces near both Portlaoise and Stradbally was conducted.
An intensive search has been ongoing since the man went missing. He was living in the Fieldbrook estate when he disappeared.
It’s understood that the man is being detained at Portlaoise Garda Station while the teenager is being questioned at Tullamore Garda Station this evening.
