Gardaí in Co Donegal have sadly confirmed that a 14 year old boy has sadly died following a single vehicle collision this evening.
It is understood the young teenager was killed after the car which he was driving off road crashed on the Inishowen Peninsula at approximately 7pm this evening.
Gardaí say the incident happened an area known as Clar which is located between Moville and Redcastle.
Officers investigating the incident say the scene has currently been sealed off in order for an examination of the area to be carried out.
