The European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has announced that the EU and UK have reached what she described as a fair, balanced and right deal for both.
Following almost a year of negotiations, Ms von der Leyen said: “We have finally found an agreement.
“It was a long and winding road, but we have a good deal at the end of it. The single market will be fair and remain so.”
Boris Johnson released a statement in London claiming that the deal would give power back to the UK, which it voted for in 2016.
