The government have announced that the commemoration for the RIC has been deferred.
There was much debate about the commemoration over the past number of days. It was to be held on January 17th in Dublin Castle but that will not go ahead now.
It’s not yet known whether the commemoration will go ahead at any point now, that still remains to be seen.
