A young woman aged in her 20s has tragically been killed in a road crash in Co Wexford today.
Gardai have confirmed that a two car collision took place just before 6am on Friday morning on the New Line Road, on the R733 between Wexford and Wellingtonbridge, near the turn off for Murntown.
It’s understood that the woman was pronounced dead at the scene after emergency services were called. Another woman, aged in her 60s, was driving the other car and was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Gardai say an investigation has been launched into the cause of the collision.
