Trump acolyte Steve Bannon has been convicted of contempt of Congress.
The well known conspiracy theorist and right-wing podcast host was found guilty following one of the shortest deliberation times by a jury in the history of American justice, less than three hours.
Mr. Bannon now faces a maximum of 24 months in prison. Sentencing hearing has been set for October 21.
