The two teenage boys accused of the murder of Ana Kriegel have been sentenced today.
Boy A and Boy B, who were both 13 at the time of the incident, were convicted of Ms. Kriegel’s murder in June of this year.
Ms. Kriegel’s badly beaten body was found in a derelict house in Lucan three days after she went missing
Boy A has been sentenced to life in detention with a review for release or further detention in 12 years time.
Boy B has been sentenced to 15 years in detention with a review after 8 years.
The boys’ anonymity will remain in place indefinitely.
